Very-Berry Overnight Oats
Serves: 4
This very-berry overnight oats recipe is a powerhouse of nutrition, packed with fibre, protein, and antioxidants. The rolled oats provide slow-release energy, keeping you full for longer, while chia seeds add a boost of omega-3 fatty acids and protein. The mixed berries are loaded with antioxidants, especially vitamin C, which supports immunity and skin health.
With a generous serving of healthy fats from nuts, this breakfast balances blood sugar levels and supports gut health. It's a simple, nutrient-dense meal to fuel your body and mind, especially for those busy mornings when you need something quick but wholesome.
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
4 tablespoons chia seeds
4 cups milk (of choice)
600 grams of frozen mixed berries
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Method:
Simply combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
Divide evenly into four jars, cover and refrigerate overnight. I often top mine with extra frozen raspberries before they go in the fridge!
To serve; top with a small handful of your favourite nuts and seeds (I often choose walnuts and brazil nuts).
Enjoy!
